oh how hard life is...
next time i start whingin about how hard things are and its all so unfair, just remind me how my day was today.
so i get up, have a huge breakfast of bacon, eggs, mushrooms (THE best mushrooms - cooked with herbs and butter and stuff *drool*), toast, freshly squeezed orange juice.
had a hot shower while dancing and singing to old bon jovi songs.
piled my hair under my hat and jumped into the convertible with mum, dad and D (mums friend) and drove to the markets at the rocks. (with a quick stop over at civic to handover my shirt of justice and truth to A). i didn't find the necklace i wanted but it was a beautiful day and took me back to Seattle where i walked through the Pike St markets by the water.
jumped back in the convertible and drove to the fish markets to buy a feast for lunch.
lunch consisted of the following. dads famous mussels cooked in a light tomato sauce (not really thick enough to be a sauce but soup sounds scary), followed by lobster brushed with garlic butter (tends to get dipped in garlic butter when i'm eating it), natural oysters and fresh cooked prawns with a squeeze of lemon and a side salad to finish it off on a light note. unfortunately we didn't think we'd be able to eat the snapper dad bought so thats tomorrow nights dinner - along with about another 2 kg of prawns... so whose coming round?
so lets re-cap shall we.
- bacon and eggs
- convertible
- beautiful sunny day with blue skies
- markets by the harbour
- view of the harbour while driving
- an array of gorgeous seafood
- a lazy sunday night
do i miss weekends at civic video?? hell no.
