thank god its friday!!!
well not really. i was actually pretty bummed that it was friday cos i had a few claims to put through and i'm getting pretty good at it. but being a weekend worker, i've never been able to say 'thank god its friday' before.
so basically my job is processing initial claims (ready to be assessed), paying invoices etc, i'm in charge of death claims so after someone dies (if its fairly straight forward) i don't even give it to an assessor i just put it through and send the cheque (not as easy as it sounds). i do research for the assessors if they need a hand and thats about all i know of so far.
the perks of the job?? well i get to wear jeans to work if i want to. because i was hired in june instead of july (by 4 days) i get the $500 lifestyle bonus along with the rest of the zurich staff, that will be included in my pay next week which i'm basically getting for sitting at my desk doing very little for the past 5 days. i can surf the net, we get cake a lot, they give bonuses as well as raises every year, i GIVE people money instead of taking it which means i don't get yelled at.
basically i'm loving the job so far. lets see how next week goes...
